Mask Design
Sometimes (although not often enough!) I get to design both costumes and masks for a production. I adore designing masks. For a production of Romeo & Juliet, we went with a masquerade aesthetic for the ball scene (Act 1: scene 5). Each mask was sculpted by hand using leather (or thermoplastic for vegan actors) and acrylic leather paint.
